Artist's Oils . Brushwork
Old World Paintings with artist's oils are original works of art, each uniquely hand painted. Each brush stroke, color and texture is meticulously selected to complete each painting. Once the canvas application is complete, a protective lacquer varnish coating is applied to seal in the ink transfer. Then the canvas is completely covered with artist's oils and medium and must completely dry before the next step begins.
Next, numerous artist's oils are creatively blended together then applied to the art piece. This is what brings the dynamic depth and dimension to the painting as it comes to life. During this process, the true creativity of the artist blossoms as it pulls out the unique colors and intricate details of each piece.

Once complete, the many layers of artist's oils must dry before the last step. The drying time depends upon how thick the paint is applied and can take several months to completely dry. Once dry, the entire piece is sealed with another UV protective lacquer layer to give ultimate protection and longevity.

The entire Old World Painting with Artist's Oil process takes 6-8 months for completion.

Your $600 credit
Your $600 credit covers your Pet Portrait Sitting experience as well as a 10 Inch digitally matted portrait. If you choose not to invest beyond your complimentary gift when viewing and selecting your artwork, we’ll simply refund your deposit. The sitting is still completely complimentary and you will be able to pick up your artwork at the studio in 6 - 8 weeks.

We find most people love what we create for them and want to invest in something for their wall as a statement piece. We are known for our wall art. We also offer gorgeous Irish Treasure Boxes for multiple portraits. That said, there’s absolutely no pressure – we want you to enjoy your sitting and make the decision that’s best for you! We want you to LOVE your portraits! Purchased portrait orders are shipped directly to your home and can take anywhere from 8 - 14 weeks depending on the order. Please note that painted art pieces take 6-8 months for completion.
Important note: If you were the one who was selected for the invitation, your pet must be the subject of the sitting, and you must be PRESENT for the sitting. You cannot send your family members or friends in your place. Thank you.

Regarding digital files: We believe in the transformative beauty of finished artwork. While the original is displayed beautifully in your home, we also gift you the shareable file of each purchased portrait. We are not a digital file studio and do not offer digital files only. Digital files are available with the purchase of wall art and collections.
Payment Options

Because everyone is unique and wants something different, we have many different sizes and finishes to choose from. We offer specials and bonuses for you to take advantage of when selecting your artwork. Most people spend between $1000 and $3000 some spend more, some spend less and some don’t buy anything at all. If after you view your portraits and wish to not purchase anything, we simply refund the booking deposit, so there is absolutely no risk to you. Please know you are not obligated to buy anything and we do not pressure you to do so. Portraits start at $300 and go up from there.

We accept cash, check or credit card payments. For added flexibility, we also offer payment plans through Affirm. Applying in advance for these options will save time during your appointment.
